Mfg Scholarships for Community College Students
Each year (December / January), working with the Assn of Manufacturers Bay Area, we offer $500 scholarships to community college students studying in the manufacturing skilled trades.

BACC / AMBayArea Scholarship REQUIREMENTS:
1) Fill out application here
2) Upload the following:
a) unofficial transcript (details are in the application on how to upload). You can scan a copy or download from your college account.
b) resume (details are in the application on how to upload)
c) documentation showing you're currently enrolled in a class at a community college for Spring (screenshot showing your name and class, etc.)
3) Note: Funds can be used for any (reasonable) purpose towards your college education (books, tuition, school supplies, transportation, rent)
- A PDF showing the questions being asked can be found here (but you must fill out the application online).
ELIGIBILITY:
- Enrolled in one of the 28 Bay Area Community Colleges for Spring
- Studying for a career in one of the manufacturing skilled trades (CAD, electronics, industrial maintenance, machining, process technology, quality control, welding, etc.)
- Receive a recommendation from one of your community college faculty.
- NOTE: No letter is required at this point but you do have to list the name of a teacher. We will email them at a later date. Be sure and let them know you are applying for this scholarship.
- GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Previous applicants can apply. Previous awardees are not eligible, however.
